Childhood
Gennady Vaynerchuk was born on November 14th, 1975, in Babruysk, Belarus, which was then a part of the Soviet Union. When he was three years old, the family emigrated to the United States. At first, eight family members lived together in a small apartment in Queens, New York, before moving to Edison, New Jersey. Even as a young boy, Gary demonstrated entrepreneurship spirit, successfully running a lemonade stand at the age of seven. He attended North Hunterdon High School.
